FAIRCHILD NC4074

 

This aircraft is a Fairchild FC-2, S/N 59 (ATC #10), manufactured January 26, 1928 by Fairchild Airplane Manufacturing Corp. It landed at Glendale once on March 29, 1931 at 10:52AM. The pilot was unidentified (Eddie Baque?), but the plane was inbound loaded with 5 passengers. It was owned by "Pomona Field."

NC4074 is also logged in the Clover Field Register six times and the Davis-Monthan Airfield Register twice. The technography for NC4074 is online at the Davis-Monthan Airfield Register Web site at the link. There are two links on that page that yield nice photographs of the airplane on the ground at June Lake, CA. NC4074 passed through several owners before its registration was cancelled March 1, 1934 with approximately 1,200 total flight hours.
