The unusual thing about this airplane is that it has been restored and is flying today out of Schaumburg, IL. At left is a photograph of the airplane aloft from 2004. It flies behind a 125HP Kinner B-5R engine.

NC788V (S/N 369) landed once during 1931 at the Grand Central Air Terminal (GCAT), Friday, April 24, 1931 at 12:15PM. The name of the pilot was not cited by the tower Operator (Wright in this case).

Besides its single landing at GCAT, it landed once at Clover Field and is signed in the Davis-Monthan Airfield Register at Tucson. Paul A. Berry was the pilot on both those occasions. There's little reason not to believe Berry flew the airplane to GCAT also. The full technography of NC788V is online at the Davis-Monthan Airfield Register Web site at the link. There is a PDF download from that page that describes the restoration of the airplane.
